Would Asian Guys Date or even marry a black woman?

Maybe but, probably not. Black is associated with evil in most asian cultures. So, there would a be tendency to not associate with dark things. I remember my father saying don't every marry a black woman. This is when I was barely 12-13, and I was still trying to figure out puberty and all the other things going on. And have I, no, nor do I have any desire. Though on the rare occasion I have been attracted to a lighter skin African American.

On the flip side, nor do I have an interest in most blonds and caucasians in general. I grew up in the East Los Angeles area and have lived with a diverse group of people. Yet, my preference is still somewhere in between asian, polynesian, etc.

i am not a man, but perhaps could give you abit of perspective on asian thinking. one of the answers says it quite rightly (sadly though), asians generally prefer fairer skin. to asians, fair is beauty. also, it does not help that asian media gives the impression that black people are problematic (violence, diseases, poverty etc).

i have known of an african american who was really nice to me and was considering a relationship but the old folks at home got worried. heck, i was even warned of considering caucasian, so that also tells you that conservative asians are abit uptight with interracial relationship, even more so if coming from a completely different culture.

that said, i have known of a friend's uncle who has a black girlfriend :) he is indian (and has dark complexion) but i am not sure if his own skin colour has anything to do with it.

i am assuming that you are not residing in any asian country, so the chances of meeting a man with asian heritage but with a more open mind (towards colour) are much higher. there still ARE such people.

I sure some asian guy's find black women attractive. I'm married to an asian woman... I find some black women more attractive than some white women. When I was single I've dated all types.

Yes, some Asian guys would ... but the majority probably would not due to the reasons given above, i.e., dark skin is "bad", fair skin is "good".

Thumbs up to xander65, the saying is 100% true ... but hopefully, personality and not only looks & performance should matter.

I dated a black women. Women are all the same. Race doesn't make a different in the choice I make. It's true as the saying goes. "When you do a black you don't want to go back ".
