My Lord, that is indeed a thoughtful question. It's so nice to see someone come through here without preaching hell and the wrath of god. I congratulate you. This is a very well thought-out and important question - and, milord, one I have the answer to.
Yes, the man is indeed gay. Face it. Any dude eating a gingerbread cookie is gay as all get-out. Gay as a small-town kid in the 1950s on Christmas morn. Gay as a pink lark in heaven. What many men don't realize (or refuse to realize) is that they are ALL gay to some extent. (Yes, men, you know you love your buddies just a little too much, don'tcha?). Here. Let's have a test.

What does the gingerbread man and a gay man have in common??? Nothing thats what.
Its a children's fairy tale. Its a rhyme. Its a story of a cookie that came to life and was eaten by a fox. It has nothing to do with homosexuality.

Its just a cookie it shouldn't have anything to do with symbolism! If a lady eats a gingerbread women or girl does that make her lesbo? Its just a DAMN cookie for pete's sake.

In Our house, we eat chocolate chip cookies and those Pepperidge Farm "Milano" cookies and at Chrismas we like Jingles and almond cresents and gingerbread cookies.....
