Through the teaching of nonsensical ideas like creationism are christians trying to put us back into the Dark Ages?
Definition of "Scientific Theory": a model or description of a set of observed events or circumstances that fits all known facts. By stating that evolution is a theory you are stating it to be fact. If you ever manage to get an education you may eventually understand that you have just endorsed evolution by stating it to be a theory.

The truth is that evolution is not considered to be nonsensical to scientists. Moreover, there is a great deal of covergent evidence, in disparate disciplines, from paleontology, to island biogeography, to ecology, to comparative morphology, to immunology, to molecular genetics (which has been called the forensic proof of the evolutionary process), to developmental biology, etc., which confirms the theory.
And while agreeing on evolution as the basic paradigm of biology, scientists do disagree politically--some are liberal, some are conservative, some libertarian, some are uninvolved with politics.

"Nonsensical theory" is a contradiction in terms. People who teach the theory of evolution are doing so in an attempt to make as many people as possible be educated on science.

It is one part, yes, so is the death of truth, reason, responciblity, justice and self determination.
Look at the results, do we live in a better world to day than in the 60's? Im not talking about advances in science and medicen, but how about this, is it safer to walk down the street now at 3:00 am?

plus, in case you haven't noticed, liberals have not been running the show since the 1970s.
I didn't get the memo, but I guess the new definition of "nonsensical" means, "something one cannot understand with a fifth grade intelligence."

yup. obviously a long time ago a bunch of scientists got together and said "i dont want to believe in god anymore lets come up with a scheme to discredit him"
so they buried dino bones and and animals from thousands of extinct species all over the earth to make it look like evolution occured
i dont understand how people can deny this
