As a teacher of English as a second language here in Puerto Rico, I taught my students what cognates were, which is what you want. Here is a list:
hospital-hospital
doctor-doctor
apartmamento-apartment
saliva-saliva
elefante-elephant
tigre-tiger
leon-lion
aeropuerto-airport
restaurante-restaurant
telefono-telephone
vision-vision
visita-visit
tomate-tomato
letra-letter
alfabeto-alphabet
lampara-lamp
soda-soda
cereal-cereal
Biblia-Bible
atun-tuna
radio-radio
planta-plant
television-televison
album-album
parasol-parasol
bebe-baby
bicicleta-bicycle
These are just a few, some has an extra letter, but in the main content the word means the same.
