First wether or not she says she does not mind she does.

I think that that is too much of a sticky situation to get involved in, you need to ask yourself if your ready to handle all the jealousy and contention that comes with.

This also raises questions about your friendship, before she gets involved with these guys, is she even aware that your interested in them and IF so, then you need to evaluate how much of a friend she is??

I'm not saying you should drop her im saying you need to evaluate.

What does it matter whether she cares or not? Apparently, she's had no regard for your feelings when she's dated every guy you've liked for the past two years. If he's an ex, then he's fair game. If she complains, remind her of how she's confiscated all the guys you've liked. Better yet, maybe you should find another "best friend".....

You need to take control of your own relationships and happiness and stop letting this friend have so much power over you.

You like the guy, go for the guy. You'd rather have a friend sliding up to every guy you are crushing on, that's your decision. It'll never get better unless you take control.

#1 rule: Never, ever date any of your best friend's ex's. It doesn't matter if you feel an attraction or if they have an attraction towards you. Even if it's a year ago since she's dated him or ten years. Brush it off and find another guy.

Find another guy. Even if she says she doesn't care, I promise you deep down she does. She will feel betrayed by it and your relationship will suffer for it. No man is worth that. Set your sights on someone else, and be a loyal friend.

If you really want to you should. If she's going out with another guy i bet she doesn't care.

Having asked your friend if she cared about your intentions with her ex, and she said "no" she didn't care, I'd say all is
good....go for it.
