My wife and I married in the rose garden of a theme restaurant -- The 94th Aero Squadron. The place looks like a French farmhouse during WW I. We went to the bridal gown shop and looked through the albums until we found dresses that looked the period. We were also able to find tux's there as well. We were able to reserve the the restaurant, get the gowns, tuxs, food for 90, the cake and the invitations for just under $5000.
I've known others who've gone with the 1950/60s muscle car/sock hop theme. They invited the local car club.
Web sites? I dunno. Google something and see what you can find.

The best thing to do is google everything... all of my stuff came from different websites and companies... if you try and just find a website that has everything, you wont find it (unless you are really easy to please)...
you can search things like "strapless wedding gown", "beach wedding favors"...stuff like that... be specific with the searches and you will find things... it'll take some time though... thats why planning takes months and in my case 18 months...

Hi There
For ideas for your wedding flowers you could try http://www.myweddingflowerideas.co.uk
There's a timetable, list of wedding flowers that you might need and a wedding flowers price guide plus you can find out the hottest trends. It also gives you a list of questions to ask your florist at your consultation, which is really useful.
You can also search for bouquet ideas by colour or by flower.

You may actually get better ideas and cheaper ones too if you check in your local phone book.
I got some great ideas from web sites and books from the library, but I got the best deals by visiting my local shops.

As for wedding dresses, I would go and try some on at davids bridal. Find the style that looks good on you and you like. Then look online to buy one very similar. You want it to look good before you buy it online. I bought mine online and it was beautiful, however I did go and try them on at davids bridal first.
Good luck, and congrats on you upcoming marriage.

theknot.com has everything! I used it last year and it was a big help. Looking at dresses online or in magazines is hard because many times you'll love a dress and then see it in person or try it on and its a big disappointment. I recommend just going to different shops and trying them on.
