That would be Jehovah God, our Creator, the Almighty. The One that gave His Only Begotten Son because He loves us so much.
What a wonderful God we have.

If anyone is tempted to think that this passage of Scripture can be used as proof that Jesus is not the only true God, they are mistaken for somewhere else John calls Jesus the only true God. "That we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life." 1 John 5:20.

Jesus Christ is the name of the one true God.
He is God wrapped in flesh .... not a 2nd person ... not a 2nd diety.
if you read carefully, you will see that Jesus says that He (as the Son, Jesus) has power over all flesh.
He is the one who sits upon the throne in judgment at the Great White Throne (rev. 20)
Jesus has the keys to death & hell & life eternal.... & no man will come to eternal life but through Him.
Jesus throughout the NT gives us example for humanity in how to live, pray, & honor Him.
those who understand the mystery of godliness & the mystery of the godhead, understand that Jesus is God on earth.

Jesus is not called the true God in 1 John 5:20.
1 John 5:20
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know HIM WHO IS TRUE. And we are IN HIM WHO IS TRUE—even IN HIS Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
This verse is taken out of context by Trinitarians.

Jehovah means ' He Causes to Become' This reveals Jehovah as the One who, with progressive action, causes himself to become the Fulfiller of Promises, the One [and only] who alway brings his purposes to realization.
