Humans are very clearly described as being unique because they were created to have free will.

"Logic says that they must have..."
You are drawing conclusions based on your belief.

Fell free to quote a passage as long as it is relevant to angels being created with free will.

I keep getting answers that guess angels must have had free will because of what they did, but nothing about them actually having free will.
I am pretty sure that what distinguished man as the greatest creation was that he was the ONLY one with free will.

"a manslayer when he began" was he not created by god? Did god create him as a manslayer?!

The Bible (Jewish Bible) states that angels have no free will; only humans do.

The Original Testament of the New Testament was the oral teaching of Jesus given by Him and His apostles through His Church.
We do not have the "Original Autograph" of the first New Testament (or Old Test) books and they seem to be long rotted away.
The New Testament books were not put together for many years after they were compiled and written (St Pauls were the first to be written) The Gospels were written down from oral traditions from AD 65-100.

The Catholic Church decided which books were canonical and inspired in the 4th cent AD and Protestants ,who do not accept the Catholic/LXX OT canon, accept the Catholic NT canon of books in the Bible.

I do not know any passage in the Bible that can be construed to mean that angel do not have free will.
The will of angels does not seem to be a topic of the OT Bible. The NT shows that devils or bad angels rebelled with an apparent exercise of free will.
I also think that the Bible teaches human free will too.

Angels were created by God and do have "free will". In Isaiah 14: 12-15 is recorded the "fall of Satan", whom was throw out of heaven with other angels, who wanted to "be like God" but not serve Him.
From this point on Satan (the devil) and his band of fallen angels,(demons) work against God.
Having "free will" is making a choice.
Hope this helps.

God has created powerful spirit beings as His agents and messengers. Since man’s creation, these spirit beings have functioned as ministering spirits to help mankind attain salvation. Like man, angels have free moral agency. Although created to help God, some of them—led by Satan the devil—rebelled against God’s government, transforming themselves into demons.

In This Verse....
On a visit to the temple, Jesus told opposing Jews: “You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.” (John 8:44)
The Line " That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him"... Denotes Choice & Free-will.
Thank You.

In Revelations. satan had his angels go against God's. Logic says that they must have had to choose who's side they wanted to be on. And somewhere else The Word talks bout even the angels will be judged for their actions.

In Isaiah It speaks of Lucifer and his vision of "rising above God" how he would accend to the hights of Heaven. How in his heart he became filled with pride.

This is in Isaiah 14

Your logic is flawed.

Do you really think God would create angels specifically to rebel against him, tempt man, then cause man to fall, and make this huge mess of things?

Study the passages below and you will see that satan willfully sinned, and that he will be held accountable for his transgressions.

God does not hold those accountable who are not free, or who have not been fully informed.

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Isa 14:17 [That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; [that] opened not the house of his prisoners?

Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Eze 28:14 Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more.
