Conundrum.....
You answered this question 55 minutes after I posted it and I already had 8 answers before you. So you telling me it's repetitave and to look up prior answers is kind of irrelevant because I already had my own. So thanks for wasting your time. I appreciate it. You got two points though, good for you!

Generally, a Kingdom Hall is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner is from such an area, and perhaps even more sad that such religious intolerance occurs worldwide.

Perhaps these anti-Witness bigots fail to understand that their vandalism and persecution actually work to help prove that Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

This question has been asked a lot on here.

Some do and some don't. Depends are where they are located. In the really hot areas like the islands and Africa, they do have windows. Some are just the decorative bricks with the designs that let air in (don't know what they are called). Some Kingdom Halls the walls slide to let more air in, or to provide more space. Most in those countries do not have air conditioning.

I've been to Kingdom Halls with and without windows. The one I attend now, is only about five years old and does not have windows, neither does most of the newer Churches near by. The one I attended before that was older, 50 + years, was remodeled a few times, but still had windows.

It just depends on the area and when it was built. Nothing sinister, no chanting, no rolling in the aisles or even lighting of candles. Just families getting together to study the bible. Everyone is welcome to attend.

You and I both know how much Jehovah's Witnesses are hated. Believe me I know because I am a Jehovah's Witness.
It has been reported that alot of so called Christians in the area have broken windows at our Kingdom Halls and some have even been burned down.

My family basically disowned me when I started studying with Jehovah's Witnesses.
My Mom did not talk to me for years and it cut me deep !!!

We have had experiences where a Father told his Daughter when he found out that she was studying to be a Jehovah's Witness, that he would rather her be a prostitute than become one of Jehovah's Witness !!!

Jesus spoke about the divisions that would take place between families when they accepted his teaching and followed in his footsteps.

This is not surprising to us.
So if we decide to build Kingdom Halls with no windows, you should be reasonable and understand why.

Everyone is invited to our Kingdom Halls, our Circuit Assemblies, and District Conventions. We do not meet in the dark and hold secret meetings. Please come to a meeting, we would love to have you learn the truth.

Seriously? Well I will tell you, this question is asked quite often and the answer is simply a matter of where/how/when the KH is built. I have gone to many Halls over the years, the 4 I mainly attended went like this window wise.

The first one was in a BAD BAD neighborhood. Like we had a steel door with iron bars on it, and a brick cage around the air unit and still had problems.

The second one was in a better area, but didn't have windows, mostly for cost reasons.

When we rebuilt it we put in windows, partially because of the hoopla in the neighborhood over our windowless building. Many neighbors said they always wondered about it, to which they were informed all they had to do was ask or come on in.

The one I currently go to, I believe has windows, though my mind is kinda blurry today.

If there is a specific Hall you are wondering about, your best bet is to either go there or call there and ask them why. They can tell you best why that specific one does or doesn't have them.

Hope this helps.

I grew up as one among Jehovah's Witnesses...the dominion corridor I used to attend grow to be up in a Mountain community in Oakhurst California...it had a extensive image Window at the back of the rostrum the place Deer and different Animals might come down and graze mutually as centers have been being held...we would even watch the snowfall in the time of wintry climate...after a mutually as they might pull the heavy curtain over the window while the outdoors grew to grow to be too distracting. some Kingdom Halls DO have domicile windows and a few do no longer.

Mine has windows. I didn't know that there were some that didn't have them. Seeing the answers that my fellow Brothers & Sisters have given, I can understand why some Kingdom Halls wouldn't have them.

The insurance for all Halls are on one policy so it's cheaper and there are no broken windows when people want to throw rocks.

Assuming you're serious, there are windows on most JW 'Worhsip' buildings.
Some may not have windows strictly due to zoning, or fire regulations.
Nothing to do with religious beliefs.

Zombie proof buildings rule.. Never know when the next outbreak is going to occur. Mormons don't have the zombie proof buildings, but they each have stored a year's supply of food.. Perhaps if we could somehow combine the two faiths and befriend them, just incase the zombies do take over the world.
