1 lb of ground chuck
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can of milk
1 can peas (drained)
1 bag of tater tots of your choice
I always spray the casserole dish with non stick cooking spray
pre-heat the oven according to the directions on the tater tots.
Fry up the hamburger.
heat up the cream of mushroom soup and milk together in a sauce pan
layer the hamburger, peas and cream of mushroom soup then put the tater tots on the top
Bake according to the tater tot bag. Its usually something like 400 degrees for 13 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
Then eat it.

You can add veggies and other fixins you like but this is the base.I add potatoes to mine and I acutally place tater tots at the bottom and top so you have a layers effect. ENJOY :)

This is the recipe my mother gave me years ago. It is simple and takes only about 30 minutes for it to be ready.
1 lb ground chuck (turkey or chicken can also be used)
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 bag tater tots
Shredded cheese.
Preheat oven to 375.
Brown your meat and drain it well.
Heat Soup with 1/2 can of water or milk mixed in. (i do this in the microwave)
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread out tater tots over the bottom of the dish. Top with browned meat. Carefully pour soup mixture over the top. Sprinkle cheese on top - add as much as you like.
Cook for about 25 minutes or until tater tots are done.
Serve with a side salad and your favorite condiments ( my family likes salsa and ketchup.)
I hope you enjoy.
PS. You can also do this recipe using fresh potatoes. Peel and slice in to thin slices.
