a pug, black and white,nice,good with kids and that will be a good lap dog for my grammy and is in the New Hampshire area thx for the help any dog would be good

First, pugs do not come in black and white. They are usually fawn, and sometimes pure black. Make sure that Grammy knows you are looking for one for her. It is not fair to the dog to pring one on someone as a present or a surprise. The dog must be wanted and loved. Make sure Grammy knows that pugs need a lot of attention, must be kept indoors in air-conditioned premises, they shed A LOT and are subject to all kinds of expensive diseases. Please research the breed and have Grammy research the breed before you go any further.
Finally, if you and Grammy find that a pug is a good match for you and that you are prepared to care for it for its entire life, contact a rescue organization. Puppies may be too much work for Grammy. If you insist on a puppy, buy one from a reputable, responsible breeder, not from a pet store, a backyard breeder or anywhere on-line. try www.petfinder.com to look for one that needs adopted. Im sure there's lots of pugs who would love a great home on your grammy's lap!

Please give a more mature and educated answer.
You do not 'Need' a dog you want a dog, Nobody needs a dog except for blind people and people who need it for health reasons.. Get a grown one if you want it housebroken, trained, crate trained. If you get it as a baby or really young you will have to do the training yourself.

what's coming up the most on petfinder right now (I used the 03818 zip code since I have no idea where in NH you are) is a pug rescue in New Jersey... (Not that long a drive)

What is your question?
Any dog will be good with kids if you never leave the dog unsupervised with kids, and if you socialise and train him/ her properly.
