is dreamweaver something just like frontpage?

i.e. it can be used by people who do not know HTML to make webpages?

OR is dreamweaver some software used in graphic designing? (like photoshop)

Dreamweaver is kinda like Frontpage, but that's like saying that a Ferrari is like a Hyundai in that they're both cars. :)

You still need to know SOME HTML to get the most out of it.

Dreamweaver allows you to create and manage Web sites.

Quickly and easily design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications — from start to finish — with Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS3 software. Built for both designers and developers, Dreamweaver CS3 offers the choice of working in an intuitive visual layout interface or a streamlined coding environment.

Adobe Dreamweaver, or simply Dreamweaver, is a web development tool originally created by Macromedia (now part of Adobe Systems). Initial versions of the application served as simple WYSIWYG HTML editors but more recent versions have incorporated notable support for many other web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and various server-side scripting frameworks.

Dreamweaver is like Frontpage - except that 90% of all professional website designers out there use Dreamweaver. It's like Frontpage on steroids. It is EXCELLENT software.

Personally I use Dreamweaver CS3, Photoshop CS3 and Flash CS3 to make websites.
