I have a dragonfly on my wrist. I think it is too plain/cartoonish. What can I add around it, and to the dragonly itself, to make it look hot?

wifebeater: chill out, im just trying to get some ideas nad opinions. I dont have a small wrist. If you guys need to see the tattoo I can put up a picture of it. I got the tattoo done at a tattoo party, and will be going to another party done by the same guy, so when I got there I need to have my ideas ready for him because he wont have time to sit there and discuss it

I didn't say I want to look hot, I said I want the tattoo to look hot. I did not get the tattoo to make myself look hot. I just want the tattoo itself to look better.

i don't think that tattoos can make someone look hot so i hope that wasn't the purpose of getting one. you probably should have decided on a style before getting the tattoo. i suggest finding an artist wil a distinct style tha tyou like and having them fix it for you. i have no suggestions as to what can be done to make it better because i haven't seen it.

Well there are a couple of things. The vines or a flower ar add some shading to it. But the tattoo artist could defiantly recommend things also.

im not trying to jump on the bandwagon but i think it is very cartoonish and i dont think that there would be anything that could be done without making the tattoo look worse, because if you start adding vines and stuff it would make you look old and trashy. this is just my opinion though.

Go to your freaking tattoo artist and ask him or her, they will be the best to answer this for you. They can see the actual tattoo and they have an idea about what would look good on that area, if your wrist is small something big might not look good, ya know? GO TO YOUR ARTIST AND STOP ASKING PEOPLE ON YAHOO WHAT TO DO WITH SOMETHING THAT WILL BE ON YOUR BODY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!! :)

Maybe some tribal swirls or something behind/around it...you could add words, flowers, something like that.
