Yes, global warming is real. It's caused by increased output of the sun. It's natural, man did nothing to cause the problem and man can do nothing to change the problem.
However this isn't the politically correct statement, as politicians would prefer to raise taxes and implement more laws over people.
This is why politicians are in the business of buying science.

1. Global warming is the latest environmentalist scare. Since almost everyone agrees with the save the environment stand they had to move the bar. They now insist that the .5 degree of warming due to man made causes is going to destroy the world. Basically it is caused by CO2 blocking narrow frequencies of infrared light. The light from the sun warms the earth but the heat that is normally radiated back to space is partially blocked. The greenhouse effect from CO2 is a very minor player and almost all the greenhouse effect is from water.
2. CO2 has been demonstrated to increase when the normal cycles of warming occur. It is probably mostly due to lower solubility in the ocean. Recently humans have been burning enough fossil fuels to significantly increase the amount of CO2. It is still many times lower than it has been in the past.
3. China just passed the evil US and combined with India easily passed us. Since they are good socialists, they have been exempted from treaties like Kyoto that many sheep complain we didn't sign.
4. Power
5 More political indoctrination. Now you have to punish someone for committing a crime that doesn't even exist in the rational world????
6. 10,000 years ago the world had an ice age. It periodically goes through warming and cooling periods. It is in a warm period. The vast majority of the warming is natural and only about .5 degrees is man made.
7. That is phrased as propaganda again. The question is not is it a farce. The question is why a brain dead politician thinks that a .5 degree change will cause the destruction of the Earth.
8. It is appropriate that this is phrased in religious terms since it is clearly a religious belief to those on the left that seem need to have faith in something.

1.) Global Warming:
The gradual warming of the earths surface; altering the climate and seasons over a period of time.
2.) Carbon is a relatively minor greenhouse gas only contributing 2-5% of the green house effect. Water vapor is a much larger contributor to the greenhouse affect.
It stands to reason and the basic logic of man that the sun stands a a significant contributor to the greenhouse cycle in that it causes water to evaporate (the ocean, etc.) and creates water vapor (the major greenhouse gas).
3) In terms of the 2-5% contribution to greenhouse gases it seems that India and China are the largest producers of greenhouse gases. A negligible sum.
4.) Coal burning factories. Though the emission of carbon is negligible, the emissions of dust and other pollutants damage the environment and help to cause acid rain.
5.) No policies need be taken. Rather it is recommended that the respective world governments prepare their people for the changes that are sure to come in the natural cycle of climate change.
6.) No real evidence as of yet.
7.) The relevance of the water vapor (greenhouse gas) outdistances the affects of the carbon greenhouse gas. No real evidence has been shown that global warming is caused by man.
8.) No. Ibid (as above)

Someone's got some homework to do. I can help you with all eight questions but I'm not going to do your homework. I have advised global committees about global warming and climate change (part of my job) so this is an area I know something about.
Here's the deal - do your homework, if you're stuck on specific aspects I'll help you, if you want anything checking I'll check it.
If you wish, add more details later or post another question.

exciting. i detect it complicated to contemplate the data whilst such assorted political factions submit data on their web pages. a diverse chum is a chemical engineer and has completed a great deal of examining on the subject and believes there is something yet consensus. His take is that it is a techniques extra complicated than the medical community knows. isn't it surprising how some human beings call it a fact? i don't comprehend of something medical that grow to be not a fact sooner or later and fiction the subsequent. it is consistent in technological know-how. i've got faith we ought to continually act in a to blame thank you to maintain our planet sparkling because of the fact it is the ideal area of do. no one is for toxins, and that i think of many all people is getting extra attentive to chemical factors, and so on that are merely risky. Al Gore does not comprehend extra beneficial than any scientist, and he's incomes money from it. If he have been a Republican, each and every liberal at here might blast him as a profiteer, so as that's a reason it is skeptical. we will see. the main serious concern is oil dependency. we are enriching our enemy, and we ought to grow to be autonomous.

Ok. Carbon dioxide is the cause. The main cause is humans as we breath we exhale carbon dioxide. Well we cant do anything about all the people? So now we reverse our position and claim its the sun. We cant do anything their either. So we just have to adjust and prepare for what ever happens!

I've already done my fair share of homework to graduate; therefore, I think it's your turn to do YOUR job so that you can graduate. Sorry...I'm sick of lazy kids putting their homework questions on display in Yahoo Answers on a Sunday, knowing they've had all weekend to complete it! If you're with me, please give me a thumbs up!
