A Theist is also real..

The definition is againt people who believe X i.e. I am not someone who believes this, it would make no sense otherwise

Theists definitely hold the majority, both in my country and world-wide. When speaking of matters of religion, its sometimes easier to identify your position by relating yourself to the majority.

Privelling? That's a pretty cromulent word there.

I suppose it is kind of acceeding that theism is the 'default', which is probably logically and ontogenetically incorrect, but since at the current time most people still identify themselves as religious, a case could be made for accepting theism as the baseline standard.

Perhaps one day, it will be the atheistic viewpoint which is considered 'normal', and it will be called something different (I propose 'rational'), while the theistic viewpoint will be forced to take the counter-point reference ('irrational').

does anyone lack belief in the existance of bolivia or Jacobites?

A-Santaist would be more like it. However no one is insisting Santa really does exist, that he really does check if you're naughty or nice and if you're naughty you're only going to get coal in your sock at Xmas. They don't try and tell you that believing in the existance of Santa is the only option in life.

If large groups of people did go around insisting this *really* was true, then people might start calling themselves A-Santaists

Sorry. I know it's a typo, but I just can't imagine what "privelling" was supposed to be. For the sake of honesty, I'll have to pass and just settle for my 2 points.

I'm not quite sure "privelling" means. You ask us to excuse it, but you don't bother to correct it, either. Tsk... Maybe you tried to type "proves" or "proving"?

The "A" prefix just means "not a ". It's the way the language is structured. By your logic, "dogma" would be a pretty rude insult, yet most christians say they follow their church's dogma.

I also call myself an Acentaurist, an Afairyist, an Agnomeist, an Aquetzalcoatlist....

In a nutshell, I'm an Adelusionist.

PS: What is privelling?

Since the definition of Atheist is "one who doesn't believe in the existence of a deity".. I think it's pretty much right-on as a descriptor of one's spiritual beliefs.

properly, Atheists have the ideal to call themselves and have faith despite they think of is authentic in accordance to their evidences. So, in case you think in God you have not have been given the ideal to choose human beings. they are human like us yet with distinctive recommendations, innovations and ideology. We human beings ought to appreciate others whomever they are. ideal desires To You.

Because Bolivia is a real country, and Jacob is my very-real son...

But some people do call themselves "Freethinkers" or "Brights" for exactly that reason.

People just handed me the label. I just use it to keep the confusion to a minimum.
