a slow cooker and a crock pot are the same gadget!! It all depends on the manufacturer's description of the thing.

I have a cracked pot here!! Is it yours?

A crockpot is a slow cooker, it is just the name of the brand. Like Kleenex is just a tissue...but a lot of people just say Kleenex instead of tissue.

Nothing....they are exactly the same. Just a difference in terminology.
By the way, your crock pot is in the very back of some cupboard with all kinds of stuff crammed in front of it.....or you loaned it out and never got it back....

crock pot is a brand/type of slow cooker. so a crock pot is always a slower cooker, but a slow cooker might not always be a crock pot.
