Tienes toda la razón nene (this is what I would say ,to sound naturally you don't translate word to word,and "my boy" is not commonly used)but literally it would be : Sentido perfecto mi chico

Tiene un sentido perfecto, chico (chavo).

If you refer to something making sense.
If you refer to sense as in (smell, eyesight.) then it would be
Tienes un gran sentido chico.

We do need a bit of context though.
