Its a movie studio based theme park with shopping/nightlife district. All the attractions are movie based. Take a look at universalstudioshollywood.com I personnelly recommend Disneyland over everything else but the really nice thing is, if you want to go to Disneyland and stay close by, Universal has a ticket that includes ground transportation from Anaheim.

It's a film studio, amusement park and cool City Walk Mall all rolled into one...

they filmed old movies and tv shows there and its now a tour attraction.
