When all I can think about is this guy who doesn't make an effort to call me or text me? Everyone says to get over him!!

You are holding so hard because you don't have any self esteem. And you are not capable of having a life with out clinging to some body.

Christina Aguileria says it all listen to the voice within not really sure if lyrics match just guessing you listen to yourself instead of everyone else. I'm kinda in the same boat but i find these really sweet poems so i pretend they are for me and from him.So really I'm not holding on hard at all. It doesn't take much effort to appreciate a nice poem and then i don't think of the phone or the text that's ignored day in day out. I pretend that didn't exist either so I'm feeling pretty free compared to what some people might think is hard to hold on to. The only thing that's hard sometimes felt is having half a heart the other half has been stolen and it's a fight to get it back sometimes making it hard to hold on. Wouldn't you have a tuff time with half your hart. What should i do Abra gadabra, your guess is as good as mine. I'm gonna watch a movie tomorrow and its called dumb and dumber. I sure they can tell me in the movie what to do.Find out tommorrow.Chow

EXACTLY! You just answered yourself "why am I holding on so hard then" Does he know you have a thing for him? On the other hand there are billions of people in the world ..why cling on one particular person. Let go completely and you will know what I mean. OR apply the magnetic formula ... move away he might get attracted towards you .. If he doesn't it was not meant to be. PERIOD.

Because it's easier than looking for someone else. Do yourself a big favor. Don't pine over someone who isn't interested in you (been there/done that). It's a complete waste of time. Just be happy by yourself until you find someone knew. Believe me, it doesn't work if the guy isn't willing to chase you.
