NO! NEVER GIVE A DOG HUMAN PHARMACEUTICALS! It can and probably will kill him! Give him a day or so, he will poo. His digestive tract is still immature and it takes time for pups to get used to going. You might want to check under the couch, he may have poo'd under something and you just didn't catch him.
Make sure you are feeding him a quality puppy food and keep him on a feeding schedule. This will help you with potty training. If he doesn't poo after 3 days then take him to your Vet. I wouldn't worry yet. Always keep some Nutra-cal on hand. This stuff is sweet, they like the taste, will help them to poo, keeps them from going into hypoglycemia. Only give him a wee bit of Nutra-cal as a little goes a long way.

NOOOOOOOO,Human elaxatives are only for humans not dogs nor cats.Ur vet will probly give u K-lax for him.My vet usualy charges me around $7.00 a tube But U might want to find out why hes is constipated,it could be his food, blockage, numerous of things.Human laxatives can kill him.Especially seeing that he is only 3 months old.Is he drinking enough water?Because water is essential for them to poo and process their food right.Call ur vet and ask him first ok.Id hate to know the poor lil thing got sick from human laxatives.

Never under any circumstances, give your dog medications that are meant for humans, unless a veterinarian tells you to you can. You may give the wrong medicine, or wrong dosage and possibly kill your dog. Do the right thing and be a responsible owner and take your dog to the vet, if you are concerned about his health.

Has their been a change in his diet? Is there anything that he could of gotten into? Be sure to watch what he chews on and what he can get into, it can become dangerous! You dont ever want to give a canine something intended for human purpose, well react differently to things. You need to contact a vet!

how many different ways are you going to ask the "my dog can't poo" question? If it is as you said in your last question, he looks bloated, please, take the poor thing to the vet. Do not feed him over the counter people medicines as this may cause other problems. He may have a serious problem, and could die from it....I'm sure you wouldn't want that to happen. At the very least, call them, so they can assess the situation and let you know what to do.

NO...never give a dog human meds without the vet telling you it is ok. Check and see what kind of treatment is best for your dog. I have a chi too, and she doesn't always poop every day!

Nope, small puppies don't poop as much as bigger dogs...what makes you think he can't? try giving him some cooked green veggies, like broccoli...this will ease it out. Never give a dog human laxatives!
