Yes, I know that non existence is hard to proove, that's why I said argument, not "proof". I mean a monotheistic God not limitedd to but including the concepts of God, Yawhe, Jehovaha, Allah, etc. I myself am not Christian but I do believe in a higher power.

The Bible, when read with a truly open mind. The contradictions and inaccuracies are so overwhelming obvious, that any reasonable person simply has to discount that it could have been "inspired by god."

What is Evidence and who has the burden to present evidence?

Evidence is support for the truth of a proposition, and includes anything that makes a proposition more likely and contrary propositions less likely. Some evidence can be listed for almost anything, but a reasonable person should withhold conclusions until a high level of supporting evidence is established. The quality of evidence has to do with the credibility of the facts and the theories. Opinions and conclusions should be considered temporary, and be guided by the preponderance of evidence, and not by faith, tradition, or desire.

Any theory is accepted as provisional. It may be recognized as the best available theory until it is finally superseded by a better one, or is found false by new facts. Doubt and skepticism is how knowledge advances.

Knowledge and certainty are two different concepts and should not be confused when evaluating any issue. We can recognize that a particular theory is the best available explanation of the known data, but never achieves 100% certainty. This should not be misinterpreted as saying we know nothing, and there's nothing to choose between that and some other idea that has less or no evidence. An accepted, or established theory means that any alternative to replace it is going to have to be better, explain more, predict more, fit the facts better. Lack of 100% certainty in a theory should not be a license to believe some other idea that has even less evidence.

How can we come to the conclusion that a god does not exist? By examining the evidence that people created the god idea, and the lack of evidence that a god exist.

When a new hypothesis or theory is presented it is up to the presenter to supply the supporting evidence. At some point in the past of almost every culture, the idea of a creator god was introduced. At that time, adequate evidence for the existence of those gods was not presented, and such evidence is still absent. It is not the responsibility of non-believers to counter these ideas by trying to prove a god does not exist. Attempting to prove something does not exist is not reasonable except for specific simple limited cases.

A flawed Bible = A flawed perception of a God.

We can take events that were supposed to have happened in the Bible and quickly find that they are often times impossible, and contradict what evidence shows us.

We can also dissect the origin of the New Testament. We can find similarities in other religions which are very close to older religions. We can even find a story centuries older than the Old Testament's account of Noah, which is almost word for word the same.

There are various logical flaws with the concept of God. Such have been displayed here numerous times. The evidence is in favor of there being no God of Abraham.

Each god from different myths has a different tactic to it. Now if you were to get me to try to prove that an ambiguously defined god does not exist, I can't. I need something to work with.

ARGUMENT FROM NON-BELIEF
1.) If the Christian God exists, he wants ALL humans to know he exists.
2.) If the Christian God exists, he knows what evidences are sufficient for ALL to know that he exists.
3.) Not ALL people believe in God.
4.) God's evidences, thus far, are insufficient for ALL to believe.
5.) God either wants non-christians to exist or there is no Christian God.

Atheist do not argue that 'god does not exist'... they merely that the reasons or evidence purported to support the idea that invisible, magical sky-fairies (gods) 'exist' are not compelling, and thus are insufficient to initiate or sustain a mental state of 'belief'.

Granted, there are some (proportionally few) people who 'believe' that gods DO NOT exist... but that position does not DEFINE atheism... which is the ABSENSE of belief in gods.

I am not an Atheist.

I do, however know of many arguments against the Abrahamic god especially the way he is depicted by most modern Christians.
The most obvious falacy is the belief that he is all creating, all powerful, all knowing, and all good but is not responsible for the creation of evil.
He cannot be all creating and all good.

The Creator cannot be benevolent.
A benevolent god cannot be the creator of all.

Well by anyones standards humans have made up a bunch of gods, hundreds of thousands at least. There isn't a shred of evidence for any of them. So...any god you chose to pick randomly (since they have the same evidence) is almost certainly made up.

Now why would you think that they all aren't?

History shows that man invented gods and the concept of a God or gods is logically impossible.
