How can the earth be a flat immobile circle? The fact that you said circle makes it so. Look at things that are circles, balls, clocks, bowls, they are not flat things. Look up to the heavens, and the wonderousness of them, how can the moon be a circle and then a half circle? Just looking at it one can see it has dimension, and fullness, especially now when it is the closest to earth. When you walk why you can keep walking, until you reach the sea, even as you look at the horizen, why does it have the shape of an arc? The rule to determine if what you read or being spoken to is coming from a false prophet. Deuteronomy 18: 20-22: Luke 6:26

No, it is a well proven fact that the universe is much larger that 5000 stars and that the world is not flat. Basic physics and astronomy proves your premise as flawed.

The fact of more than 5000 star being in the sky when you get away from light pollution of cities. You can see this with your naked eye, much less a telescope. Do you not trust your eyes?

The different positions observed by the stars throughout one evening proves that the Earth rotates on an axis and is not flat. Also please observe the moon.

How can you prove Genesis is not a myth?

Thats right, they're all painted on a giant celestial sphere. I've been trying to convince other physicists of that for years. The Earth is the center of the universe and epicycles explain the retrograde motion of the planets. Curse Kepler and his fancy eliptical orbits. Also Newton and his theory of gravity and laws of motion because these can be used to show that the orbits of the planets would be eliptical. Its all devilry and witchcraft I say. There is water above the firmament and thats where the water came for Noah's flood. Giant boulders supposedly deposited by glaciers during the last ice age were actually put there during the great flood. The flood is also why you find fish fossils on land. Continental drift...yeah right! In the words of Homer Simpson, "Facts schmakts. You can use facts to prove anything thats remotely true." Knowledge is only temporary, but the inerrant word of God is forever. All evidence points to the fact that the Earth was magically created by God in 4004 B.C.

This is what the church taught in the dark ages. Wake up sister! We are not in the dark ages any more! :)

The Bible speaks on this subject. In Hebrews chapter 1 we read, "He made the worlds." verse 2. "The worlds were framed by the word of God." Hebrews 11:3.

There are unnumbered worlds throughout immensity!

"At His bidding every star and planet and satellite fly onward in their appointed courses. His single arm guides the millions of sweeping suns, and around His throne circles the great constellation of unnumbered universes." O.M. Mitchell, former director of the Cincinnati Observatory.

"The host of heaven cannot be numbered." Jeremiah 33:22.

See Job 38:31-33.

The sad part here is I know that forum you posted and there are people that seriously believe that.

Just in case you don't know, you can see way more than 5000 without a telescope if you get away from city lights.

What about telescopes that your random everyday people build at home? I know people who do that, and their telescopes see the same thing the crazy propaganda spewing scientists *rolleyes* are trying to pass of as the truth. Are you for real?
