What type of clothing will I need? Sweaters or a coat, would you say?

I think you might need a light coat, maybe a light sweatshirt, nothing too heavy, you will most likely use them in the evening

Temperatures average about 75 F (24c) during the day and about 65 (19c) at night during November with not too much rain, so you might want to bring at least a sweater. Hong Kong is one of the shopping meccas of the world, you can always buy clothing if you need to as well. Have fun.

it doesn't get really cold in november. i went to hong kong late november, staying till early december and i still sweat wearing a coat...
unless you are visiting places like Victoria Peak where it get cold, you don't really need a jacket or sweater at all. even my friend from hong kong is lamenting that the weather is getting hotter, even in december/january, probably like a cooler summer but not much colder. you can still wear a t-shirt and won't feel cold.

Bring some sweaters and maybe a coat, not a big one though. Hong Kong doesn't get cold until Decemeber.

With this type of a climate,I do not suppose that you would be requiring any woolen clothing,to be on the safe side keep one cardigan handy for the unexpected.

we r now early autumn. but i m stil wearing short sleeves shirt daily or tee only. no worry! we r quite warm here even winter time. now we t hving like 26-30 degree daily. Nov, we wil hv aro 22-26. wt some nice / dry breeze. sunny most of the time. our autumn = v v comfy.

where do you live i live in tai po market or are you going hoilday and we are going december vring a sweaters.
last year we went in summer it was boiler and we went i 2005 in september and it was raining but it not cold rain it hot but still pretty hot
