A Christian does not need apologetics when he/she is following Christ's commandment to treat others as one wants to be treated.

Yeah.. the answer seems pretty obvious to me. Apologetics to me is just answering someones doubts and/or questions. Being able to explain clearly and with reason to those who ask.
Debate avails little. A person convinced against their will, is of the same opinion still.

The Bible says to check doctrine, and reject the false. Nearly the entire New Testament is about true doctrine and beliefs vs. false doctrine. If you believe the wrong things, then you need to be corrected. Apologetics, as it is called, is the responsiblity and requirement of every believer, otherwise, they will fall.

Certaintly..... NOT...!

(2Timothy 4:1-to-4) Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom,

(2Ti 4:2) preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

(2Ti 4:3) For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap up teachers to themselves according to their own lusts, tickling the ear.

(2Ti 4:4) And they will turn away their ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.

Thanks, RR

If we did it would be to the Jewish state and Israel. How dear did we treat them so badly. I am not only thinking about WWII and the Holocaust. I am also thinking about the Romans who proscecuted Jesus. And Jesus was a Jew. That makes me so sad that this ever happened.

I was wondering that myself. When people are fanatically dedicated to political or religious faiths or any other kind of dogmas or goals, it's always because these dogmas or goals are in doubt

The only reason would be because unbelievers need it. Once a person believes the truth he has no need of it.

MY GUESS WOULD BE THAT YOU SHOULD ALWAYS LOOK REALISTICLY AND OPENMINDEDLY AT ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE. And be willing to reasses your thoughts when you are PROVEN that they were some how in error!!

BLIND FAITH IS NOT WHAT JESUS WANTS FROM US!!
