DNA testing. If it is yours you should get mentally prepared. If it is not then you can drop whatever responsibility you have to her/it. Be careful, you can look like a real ahole if you dont handle this right. Don't just ignore her. Remember, it could be yours.

If your girl friend needs help with medical expenses, housing, food stamps. You wont need to do a thing the state will court order you to get a blood test to see if you are the father and then remove child support from your income for the next 18 years.
If you try to run from this responsibility they now have linked all the states and can now communicate with all the states to make sure you are having the support removed from your pay. You will have to leave the country it wont be long before the countries are interacting as well so.
First find out if the child is yours call a doctor for a paternity test once the child is born.
The only pleasant way to handle it is get married and make a life together providing your child (investment) with a stable home.
I wish you all the luck in the world on your new endeavor fatherhood. Of the many choices in life if you don't fight it it can be the most pleasant and rewarding.

Contact an attorney. A pre-birth DNA test can be performed, but only with a court order. You can file for a temporary restrainer order preventing her from calling, and advertising the "possible" false information thus slandering you. If the results prove you are the father, step up and take responsibility.

Paternity test. It's the only way to be sure. Be there through the stages of pregnancy, and as soon as the baby is born get a full paternity test. If she puts you on the birth certificate you have a right to get the paternity test done, if she doesn't...then you get off real easy.

A lot of men who get women pregnant like to be in denial about such things. Anyway, the only way to know for sure is to get a paternity test done, like the first poster suggested. Oh, and wear a condom next time.

Be open to the possibility, if you didn't understand how to properly use a condom. This is why you need to use one, also they will dock your check whether you participate or not. This is the test of real men here, taking responsibility. Hopefully you'll be doing that if the states dna reads you.

You won't truly know until the baby is born and there is a test done to determine who the parents are. So you will have to hang tight and take all the criticism from her for now until the truth is able to be heard.

I'm pretty sure everyone else is going to say this, but I want my 2 points:
Ask for a paternity test. It doesn't sound like you guys were in a committed relationship, so she shouldn't get too offended.

I am not sure if you can have a test to match DNA easily when she is still pregnant. But you can check with the doctor to see when it was conceived. then you go back and check if you had sex with her on the same day. Assuming she didn't have sex with another guy in the proximity, the baby is likely yours.

Ask for a paternity test. That will prove if the child is yours or not.
If she refuses to do a paternity test, tell her that you assume that the child is not yours and to stop calling you and stop tellin everybody that the child is yours.
if she does not stop, file a harrasment lawsuit. That should make her stop.
