In the state of Iowa,
I am trying to find out so I can get my child, In my house as her mother claims "I never do nothin for her" and was trying to put her out last week but when she found out she was with me demanded that she come home,

Long story short, Its time for a change and I will do what ever i can to make it,

so please even if you can just point me in the right direction That would help as well

usually, around 13-15, the judge will take into consideration what the child wants. of course, just b/c they want to go doesn't mean they'll be able to. the courts will take more than her wishes into consideration.

If "its time for a change and I will do what ever i can to make it" get a lawyer and sue for custody.

I have no idea what the "age of consent" is but I imagine even up until the child is 18 it is a judges decision, if the parents can't work it out on there own.

It depends entirely on the prosecutor in the county where the original custody hearing was held.

If your child's mother tried to put her out, you need to contact social services so that your child can tell them the story and get an "official" record of it. That should (except in the state of Indiana) be enough to get you custody.

the age as far as i know is 12. in california,oregon, colorado,washinton, ans arizonia. luck to you
