my daughter is 16 months old. I while back she had a bad infection in her throat. I don't know if it has anything to do with this, but she can only take slow flow bottles, where the nipple collapses type slow. I AM trying to get her on the sippy cup, shell take it, but she keeps choking, because on slow flow piece inside, it is still too quick for her, does anyone have any ideas plzzzzzz. i dont want her to get bottle rot, and once she takes the sip and chokes she screams for the bottle.

I had tried a lot of cups, and now we LOVE these. You have to suck REALLY hard to get the water out.

These cups were TOO hard for my son. I tried to sip from it and it was near impossible!!My husband is a huge Yankees fan, so I wished these cups were better.

let me just say in 6 months time he may be going onto a proper cup so be careful that if you mange to get a slow sippy cup that you can not slow down the speed of an ordinary cup my advice would be get him used to that one than a slow one.

I have always liked Avent, they seem to be less leak prone and they make cups for babies as young as 6 months, so they are likely slower flow.
