seeking advice on re-entering workforce after 20 years !?

20 years have been stay-at-home mom with home-based daycare business. has been very successful & fulfilling, but time to sharpen skills & change paths. in a former life in the 80's was administrative assistant - varied background & skills - seeking advice from Those Who Have Walked This Path already! Lots of older people at the community colleges .
Usually affordable (especially in california) and
You have exposure to the new technologies AND
You get a chance to network and use the placement office .
