www.annualcreditreport.com is the best way to go! It will give you a report from all 3 credit reporting agencies. If you come across something that is not yours, there should also be a website and/or phone number you can reach. Tell them that it is not yours and they have to research it and take it off. This takes a while...a long while, but eventually you can get it corrected. Good luck!

go to this site : www.annualcreditreport.com and you can print all your credit report. There you can see with who you have open accounts and work on it. A more consumer friendly version of this would be for you to call TRANSUNION and ask them to send you your credit report. On the version they will send you you will have also all of those creditor's name address and phone numbers. To avoid paying for this report, when you call Transunion, tell them that you recently applied for credit and you got denied. This way they will give it to you for free, otherwise they may charge you.

Get your free annual credit report on line at the Big 3s joint site
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
Report free / FICO costs extra .
And , if that is clean , consider the possibility that either someone typo'd your SSN on your recent credit request or
You may have too much available credit ( contrary to common wisdom , even though you have no late payments or extra debt , Fair Issac may be dinging your score for high available credit )
Good Luck !
