People always say, be nice, be honest especially when it comes to girls. Sometimes, i just feel that being straightforward and honest has a price to be paid. Does being too honest and nice cost dearly? Where do we draw the line, when it comes to relationships? It really hurts..

Being Nice and honest are great qualities to have. Like you said, sometimes you just have to pay the price for being too nice and too honest, whther it is girls or guys. The irony is, when you say something, expecting the other person to appreciate your honesty, and sometimes it just backfires at you and things turn out to be disasterous. I know it hurts, it hurts very badly, trust me... but like someone has said, If there's such a price, I'd pay it happily..
No worries!! Live life the way YOU want it to be.

In a girl & boy relationship there is no such thing as too much honesty. For a relationship to strengthen, both should be100% honest with each other and still want to be in the relationship.
If hurt is a price to be paid for being honest and nice ... then there is something wrong with the partner who does not know how to appreciate it. Such a partner is unworthy to be in a relationship.
However, we all should remember that there is a difference between being honest and having poor communication skills.
Example:
"Do I look fat in this dress?" asks the girl
"yes" replies the boy.
This type of poorly communicated honesty may get the boy in a lot of trouble. We girls often appreciate guys who can sugar-coat the bitter truth.

Im sure you have heard the truth hurts and honesty can cause pain but that doesnt mean u should lie, if someone is asking you to be honest with them then they should prepare themselves to be hurt or not.

hey its ur life ur opinions. i'm also a straightforward person and i never feel paid 4 it. its better 2 say on ppl's face wht u feel abt them. Feeling paid is just b'coz u r not a back bitching person and ppl r jealous abt it. b'coz they r backbitchers. i feel that whtever i do its my wish b'coz its my life and no one has the right 2 tell me anything.

Nice and honest are both wonderful traits to have. Don't lose that because you think it is what people want - be yourself - you will be rewarded for your kindnesses.

yes it pays us in a good way, in this way it may time to get right relation with right person and we might have to go with lots of pains but at the end it gives all good...
