Well, they voted for him!
I think it is an unfair comparison because the Muslim peoples who get accused of terrorism did not get to vote on it.

Bush promised the Christians a crusade and they wanted it very much. Only now that their economy is collapsing are they starting to think it over.

Your assumption is of course illogical. First you presume to judge a man (President Bush) and decide what is in his heart. I have no question that Bush is a man of faith. It is possible to disagree with the decisions a President makes without questioning his faith.

Secondly, your assumption of Islam is wrong. No reasonable American presumes to judge all of Islam by the actions of a few. Most Americans have come to understand that Islam is divided into a liberal and a conservative camp.

The liberal camp has come to interpret jihad as a personal spiritual journey. They generally follow a more peaceful approach. For the most part they represent the Muslims present in the United States.

We also recognize that the conservative camp follows a more traditional interpretation of jihad. This interpretation includes the desire to convert the world to Islam and to use war if necessary to accomplish this goal.

Intelligent Americans have easily distinquished men like Ahmandinajab (?). We recognize that they are not unique in the Middle East. Those of us who are old enough to know history realize that these men have led many countries in the Middle East over the years.

I believe you are talking about humans judging humans. Only God will judge mankind. Man judging man is always unjust. How long has it been that man has judged all black men by only a few, or all white men by only a few or all Mexicans by a few or all Polish people by only a few or all Irish by a few? This is a never ending list for mankind to judge each other. It's not our job to do the judging but man does it anyway. Doesn't mean it's right.

It would be fair to judge the people who voted for him on the sole basis of his Christianity. Christianity should probably be put in quotations in that sentence because Bush claims to be a Christian, but does not act like a practicing Christian is supposed to act.

Yes but you are still not solving the problem. Religion should be eradicated all together so people would be forced to see reality. I'm not saying to get rid of god or the concept of god if that's what you believe in, but people don't worship god, they end up worshiping themselves. I'm sure that the end of the world that every religion preaches of will be needlessly caused by zealots and their holy wars.

Reality check. We are all trying to survive, we don't need a being that may or not exist, telling us what group of people is OK to kill.

It isn't fair to judge anybody!!

Matthew 7:5 World English Bible
You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

Bush doesn't act in a vaccuum. He has the fervent support of about a third of America, many of whom think he's the next best thing to Jeezuz.

Generalizing and stereotyping is unfortunately quite prevalent in our society.

All Christians are bible thumping, homophobes who hate all people who aren't Christian.

Atheists are actually devil worshippers.

Muslims hate the US.

It's not true, but unfortunately, people believe too much of what they see and what they are told instead of discovering the truth themselves.
