Because of the principle of each religion is difference so the answers were difference too. For our religion, the killing is sin and we will go to hell but we also have rules in case we do it for protect myself or our nation. You have to pay back after death. There is noone happy to be soldier.

All are guilty of breaking the commandment of though shalt not murder. For in the bible it says if you have hated man in your heart than you have committed murder.
It is what we do with this burden of sin that will determine where we spend eternity. What a horrible burden for a person to bare and with out the Lord Jesus Christ I am sure it is almost suffocating. Anyway, the soldiers that I know, pray constantly, with repentance and humility, asking forgiveness, for this horrible burden they must bear to ensure the freedom of the United States of America. Or, whatever Nation they are fighting for.
May God continue to bless the Men and Women in the United States Military, for without their unselfish sacrafices we would not be free.

Hell is a place where soldiers weren't there to protect the people, and kill those that would kill you.

My husband is a veteran of Vietnam and Iraq,
Because of the Mercy of Christ and what he has done for us, he and all other soldiers who accept this, and are part of the body of Christ go to Heaven.
Did you know that murder in your heart is the same as if you commited the act? who is not guilty of this?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Shalom

not all kill. I spent 6 years in the military and never killed anyone. Was trained to kill, but fortunately for me (and the people I was trained to kill), the opportunity never came up.
But you have to understand, the soldier is fighting for something, a belief and idea, the protection of his or her country and this is acceptable. Killing for the joy of killing is wrong. Killing just because is wrong, killing for revenge is wrong. Killing to protect, while not ideal, is not wrong.

If they die in battle, they go to Valhalla. The Norse mythology is very clear on this point. I'm surprised you even needed to ask the question.

You could say the same thing about law enforcement. What have you got against cops, Elmo?

There is a difference between defending your country on the field of battle, and murdering someone.
You've obviously never served in the military. If you did, perhaps you would have developed some sense of honor - a trait you obviously lack.

Depends on if they are a Christian or not. I cannot understand why people refuse to see the difference in killing in defense of country or family and murdering someone. Just look at the Old Testament. God loved His warriors and blessed them.
