One year and half ago i had to have a ft and a half removed from my small intestine. They do not know why this happened or what causes it. Since then i've been on medication for my digestive system and chronic fatigue syndrome. It took me 4 months to recover enough to get out of bed and be more active. I currently enrolled in a dental program and hope to gain more energy to eventually lose the weight and more importantly gain my self esteem back. All of my friends give me compliments all the time, but are they just being nice cause they don't want to hurt my feelings?

Why not????

If a person likes you it should be because of the the person you are inside...Not just because you have a pretty face & a small waist!

You should not even want to be involved with someone that only wants to be with you because of yor physical apperance. Even though the physical is important it's not everything. God forbid your appearance changes for whatever reason that person attracted to the physical is going to run straight for the hills!

Furthermore before you can make someone else happy you have to 1st make yourself happy. If you're ok with the extra weight then screw what everyone else thinks, but if you're uncomfortable with the image you see in the mirror you need to do something about it now before the problem gets worse.

At the end of the day you have to learn to love the person you are before anyone else can.

Yes. Slightly overweight is no big deal at all. Even moderately overweight can still be attractive, if you dress well and carry yourself with confidence. And some guys are attracted to extremely large women.

Good luck losing the weight. I know it's generally easier for guys, and I've still been working at it for some time. So don't let little setbacks get you down. It sounds like you've been through quite a bit and are getting through it, so I'm sure you can handle this as well.

I put on weight and I had chronic fatigue as well. I never had a problem before that. People should not judge you because if you had a health problem. It is something you could not help and you are still trying to help yourself. They should be just your friends anyway. You need them for support and if you can get back to yourself old person you was. then that is the better and you can get back to your old life. It could happen to them not just to yourself, otherwise you all need each other. I hope all gets well.

It all depends on her character. eventhough she has the sexiest body and the prettiest face if her values are stinking then forget it. Remember beauty is just skin deep.

You would know your friends better than me, although I'm sure they wouldn't insult you to your face. I'm sure that it wouldn't be a problem for you to find someone, fat or skinny.

I have found women attractive, even over weight...not that I'm into women or anything...not that there's anything wrong with that...er...never mind.
