Usually by actions I can sense peoples feelings, but how can sense what they are feeling inside themselves? How can my spirit connect with theirs?

Body language, misdirected sentences, actions are the physical clues. All you have to do is use your five senses, watch and pay close attention to the person.

Intuition, dreams, telepathy can be the spiritual clues. All you have to do is be tuned in, prayer, meditation and hear your inner voice.

Peace!

It cannot. I fully believe that we have the ability to empathize with others and feel genuine compassion. However, many times words cannot describe the turmoil, fear or other conflicting and torturing emotions of the human condition. Most times people feel the need to either over emphasize their plight and dramatize it to get the critical attention they feel they need or they hide and put a brave face on what is destroying them inside. Either way, a human cannot connect with another human via spiritual movement. Ours is not the Spirit that moves even ourselves. Only God can fully see, feel, hear and understand the complete experiance of someones feelings...something we can only tenatively grasp and that is why people feel so alone no matter how much family and friends they may have. We all need God. There is no substitute. With Him...no one is alone. Love in Christ, ~J~

When you learn the compassion of Christ and put your self in there shoes ......then it will be easy to understand there pain because you are baring there pain to be there for them.....this is part of being a servant,....he that is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven is the servant of many,....Just don't cast your pearls before foolish double minded people.....experience in God's word does take time,...trials and errors does happen,....but you will get better if you allow your self to be vulnerable to those that are willing to open them selves to you.

It is so rewarding to bring joy to one that is in dispair,....I KNOW because i was in great dispair for a big part in my life,...but Christ is our Pysician that can heal that spirit of Ours.

The hearer must know that you are like them,...that you feel there pain,....if you become vulnerable you will feel there pain and you will eventually experience true compassion.

Peace to you brother! Me Pete

This can be hard. But be a friend-a true friend, not just token friend. I can always tell when my friends are in need, the Spirit of God reveals that to me. I do seek discernment though.

You pick up telltale facial expressions and emotional actions. It's natural human deciphering, not Spider-Sense.

if you conclude their feelings based on actions..that isnt *sensing* like those 800 psychics claim to
you are just subconsciously adding up all the details quicker than your conscience could

assuming you mean Christians (only Christians are so arrogant as to assume that only they have "belief"), the answer is easy - you don't.

Numerous Christians here and elsewhere show a perpetual track record of seeing only what they want to in others, and attempting to define others' feelings to fit their agenda.

You can't feel what others feel until you learn genuine respect for them and their perspective of the world - especially as it differs from yours.
