Aslong as they don't have the mission to testify that ''God doesn't exist'', why do they do this?

we are too stupid in their eyes..so we are not able to understand what they say..so why do they keep giving answers to us?

Or is true what Jesus said? That actually we will be opressed ..for His name, actually?

So actually they detest Jesus..don't they?

Yes. They are misotheists. There is NO such thing as an atheist...

To reject God is to hate Him.

If you actually want to know why, you should ask everyone, especially atheists, not just Christians. Or do you just want confirmation of your prejudices?

I suppose in some ways I do have a "mission" to testify that I do not believe God as you talk about it exists. If there is something beyond the beyond, it is way more abstract and esoteric than anything my Methodist Sunday school teacher mother ever described.

Why I tell you what I believe is that I feel faith is a very dangerous thing. Faith is generally described as belief in the absence of evidence, or even in the face of evidence to the contrary. We would not accept that standard of belief in any other part of our lives, so why should we accept it where it matters most?

Not too stupid, but perhaps too brainwashed. I saw "Jesus Camp," and I have seen similar indoctrination programs before, both in person and on film. I have also seen the movie "Obsession," which shows frighteningly similar techniques from Muslim television, with little children screeming "Jihad!" and strapping on fake (at least I HOPE they were fake!) suicide vests full of dynamite. And I notice people saying things like Randall Terry:

"Our goal is a Christian nation . . . We have a biblical duty; we are called by God to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism. We want theocracy. Theocracy means God rules."

Unfortunately, that's NOT what theocracy means: ask any Iraqi citizen. Theocracy means people with enough chutzpah to CLAIM God speaks through them rule. And George W. Bush has said that he is confident that God speaks through him.

No, we don't detest Jesus. I happen to think he was a fine magician, a gentle and wise teacher. But what is done in his name scares me right down to my shoes.

I don't detest Jesus, he was a man that lived 2000 years ago that was persecuted for his beliefs. However, I know him to not be a god (he never claimed to be, the catholic church added that to the bible in 325 AD).

I do not view you as stupid. Gullible? yes. Stupid? no.
Most christians follow because that is what they are taught to do (like I was). They just cave to the pier pressure and follow blindly. (I did) If they ever seriously questioned their faith (not just reading the bible and church books, but other books on religions as a whole) they may realize what I did, that it is a load of crap. Or they may just solidify their views, which is okay. Either way, they can then know that they are following what is right for them.

Don't presume that atheists just don't understand the bible, god or Jesus, many of us were once christian until we opened our eyes.

The world hates us because it hates Jesus more. Yes, probably most of the atheists answer Christians here because they hate us.

The good news is that hatred is not the opposite of love. Apathy is the opposite of love. As He said "I wish that you were either hot or cold...." Rev 3:15. It is the lukewarm that he spews out of His mouth.

We have a great opportunity to help those who hate us, hence hate Jesus. They listen to us. They dialog with us. We speak the truth. It is like little seeds being sprinkled on soil. We pray that the soil that receives it is good, fertile soil. If it is then the harvester will harvest a good crop.

We do not need to know the outcome of every evangelization we perform. We just need to speak the truth in love. We have all of the cards. We lack nothing. They need us desperately. As He said, love your enemies, do good to those who would harm you. Pray for them. Mt 5:44. It is our job to love the world as He has loved us. Jn 13:34

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

Ah, no Grasshopper... we are merely concerned about all of the gullibility, irrationality, willful ignorance, self-delusion, intellectual dishonesty, hypocrisy and drooling stupidity that is at large in the world. So, we consider it to be our ethical duty and moral responsibility, as sane and rational human beings, to confront ANY of those things, whenever and wherever we encounter them. The fact that Christianity wraps up ALL of these (dubious) qualities into one, neat, tidy package... well, we consider that to be hugely convenient, and we count it as a great blessing.

It is simply a matter of efficiency.

Atheists aren't concerned with whether or not you think there is a god or not.

And they can't really detest Jesus if he never existed.

You have been trolled by dozens, probably hundreds of 'athiests' on yahoo!, most of whom were just trying to piss you off.

And were successful.

Stop sweating. in The Brothers Karamazov the story is told about a man who visits the bishop and loudly proclaims: "There is no God!". the bishop, unperturbed, answers: The fool has said in his heart there is no God!" Whereupon our atheist friend drops dead. It's a classic put down, and while I certainly don't wish anyone harm, it cheers me sometimes as it reminds me not to worry about what others may say. I welcome anyone with good intentions to work for a better world, together. With our hands and minds we can make this Earth a paradise, worthy for all, regardless of belief or non-belief.
I truly think G-d is not worried about who believes in him; he wants workers.

Your forgetting the demon element. They can and do posses people and influence their lives toward their destruction. Thus, with the full knowledge as to their eventual fate, they want to take as many with them as they can. Demons do not have eternal life........they know that.
Proof? When Jesus cast out the demons from the herd of pigs, they questioned Jesus about the time when they knew they were to die.
