I don't. I base it on what the Quran states about Who God is, and the nature of the world and mankind (i.e., He is only transcendent, not imminent; we are not made in the image of God, therefore being an agent of free will really is an illusion; that we are not born in a sinful powerless condition, that we cannot have a personal relationship with Him, but in contradiction to these doctrines man can save himself from his own sins through submission via worship and religious service).

Add to this the inherent disrespect for others, especially their religious beliefs and culture, via the coercive, if not violent (I believe that the English words used "subject" and "subdue" in the Quran can be translated in the Arabic as "ravage" and "annihilate"), measures prescribed in the Quran concerning "the people of the book" and/or the infidels, and you have a recipe for disaster, holy deception, and incomparably more evil than what you and I presently see regarding the weaknesses of western culture. You are raised with a "we" against "them" mentality, rather than we are all in this together, as all humanity is alike in both good and bad ways, and noone's better than anyone else (i.e., There are no homosexuals in Iran? Is that because they are all executed? Let's get real and stop lying. We have videos of executions to prove this lie). Christianity promotes the latter, because of its recognition of the powerless state of the sinful human condition, which points to the need for a savior that has to be God Himself, since noone else can.

This is why Islamic nations are not prospering, despite the incredible resources available to them in oil. It is a culture of coercion, oppression and vengeance (i.e., if American soldiers pulled out of Iraq today, what do you think would happen to millions of Iraqis, in the name of the "true" religion?) This is why Islam is likened to fascism, not due to a few misguided leaders as you would call them. No, these leaders are more consistent to what I read in the Quran than most Muslims!

It is just a pretext, being spread by the media, which is owned or run by the Jews, also there are other reasons :
1-Islam is feared by the western as it the fastest growing religion, and therefore, they have to distort it by any mean!!
2- Muslim will stand with his brother Muslim, regardless of his race or nationality, as Americans Muslims will be loyal to their Muslims brothers, and not to the white house!!. and certainly this will not be accepted by the west!!
3- The west has to find a new enemy, especially after the downfall of the USSR, otherwise, how they will survive without instigating wars and conflicts (to sell weapons) all over the globe. Good examples are what they are doing now in IRAQ & Afghanstan!! Have you seen any westren power goes after any nation during the 2nd half of the 20th century except Muslims.!!
4- If Islam dominates, then justice will prevail, and as a result exisitng corrupted monrachy in the Muslim world will disappear, and Western Compaines will not flourish in the absence of corrupted rulers. (Who are wasting their people wealth in bribery and fake deals)

5- Most of the westren people are misled as they know ntohing other than what their media is telling them, and therefore, they are very easy target for this type of propaganda.

Finally, as the old saying goes! History repeat itself! and every nation has its ups and downs!! it is jst a matter of time before the sart of the downfall of the materialsitc westren civilization!
See what is happening !! homosexuality is being seen as personal freedom !! and many westren officials are either Gays or lesbians!! what freedom is this?!! Have you seen or heared this type of relation between ANIMALS!! Certainly NO!! So what do you expect! other than a very quick collapse of these socities!

The same reason people judge Christianity based on what its misguided followers do. Doesn't make it right on either account, I don't think the violent acts done in the name of either religion were the point at their founding. Yet people are blinded with thinking that they're so right that they don't stop and think about what Muhammed or Jesus would do...

As to why people judge, it's judging on what is seen on the news. A violent act or an act of hatred is far more "newsworthy" - either by word of mouth or the internet - than quiet acts of love and devotion.

Many people are emotional, after what happened in 9/11. The Muslims are depicted by media as Evil.

Christianity, used 9/11 as a way to get people far away from Islam and as a way to get people close to the bible.

I watched a news report showing a Palestinian wedding later 9/11, they said that Middle East is celebrating the attack.

The media is the biggest part that depicts Islam as Evil.

Because the majority of human beings (Atheist) could care less about the truth of what Islam is really about, even if they do recognize the truth and they only care about Slandering Allah and his messengers because they wan't everyone to live as an Atheist and atheist are against obediance to Allah. But be patient for they will one day live amongst only each other seperate from all Monotheist on Judgement day. That day all Monotheist will have all that they wish for and more.Eternal fire,misery and torment is the only thing that will be granted to all Atheist on Judgement Day. Firstly understand this. If a few people can mis interpret something, where those the fault lie? With the people or with the thing?

In the same way, if one person can mis interpret the qu'ran and destroy the World Trade Centre, where those the fault lie? With bin laden or with the qu'ran?

Look, it ain't a small insignificant part of your religion that wants to start WWIII. It may not be fair to lump everyone together, but there is no good way to separate you. And if they succeed in starting a big war, you are going to be the ones to pay the price.

Just because Americans and Other countries Know that Education is the KEY to their progression doesn't mean the FOLLOW what they know to be true.

Most Catholics haven't read the bible, neither have many Christians, Nor the Quran for that matter, when it comes to Muslims

Sister, salaam. It is important to remember that a very small fraction of the Muslim Ummah does the wrong, when whole Muslim nations are literally bombed into smithereens. It is important to keep things in perspective.

Why is it terrorism to bomb one restaurant through a single person who dies in it, but it is civilized to bomb a whole block with several restaurants in it, as long as the bombing was done from the sky through an airforce plane, whose pilot safely returns back to base and has his coffee and donuts while the victims of his actions are writhing in pain and suffering in their last throes of death.

Quit blaming all Muslims for what a fraction of a fraction of one percent do. If one percent of the Muslims would become terrorists, that would be 13 to 14 million terrorists. If ten percent become terrorists, then that would be 130 million of them, yet 90 percent of the Muslims would be innocent.

I hope this makes sense to you. Know it that those people who Judge Islam or Muslims for the actions of a handful of terrorists are themself ignorant and self absorbed and totally self centered. They think only they are human and the rest of us are cats and dogs, for they want to have the right to kill our innocents and it is okay, but if you kill theirs, then you are a terrorist.

I say ANYONE who deliberately kills the innocent in cold blood is a terrorist on ANY SIDE, on ALL SIDES!!
