That's what I was trying to figure out last night with a few of my questions. I don't get why physical death is a result of sin entering the world, yet Jesus's atonement didn't stop physical death from occuring. Suddenly, the atonement was for "spiritual" death. Whatever.

Well first you have to accept the believe in original sin, which I don't. How can G-d punish an individual for something they themselves did not do? The idea of original sin turns G-d into a bureaucratic, officious dictator bent on punishing us, rather than the loving, patient creator that he is.

Life is not punished for sin but refusing the gift that Christ gave. The gift of forgiveness has been given, now it is up to the individual to accept that gift by recieveing Jesus as Lord and Saviour. That is what you will be judged on, your acceptance or refusal to Jesus.

There is no "original" sin. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our past transgressions (sins). This allowed us to enter into God's santuary and be saved from eternal separation from Him. All life is not punished. The wages of sin is death, which means that although we are saved (those who are saved), we still must pay the penalty for our sins. This refers to Man alone. Because Christ was raised from the dead, those who are saved will also be raised.

We are only punished if we do not accept the atonement
that Jesus brought to us,if we do not believe and make it right with God,then we are lost and spend eternity in Hell.

It doesn't. It's already done. The theory is that Jesus died for the sins of the world. Anyone that tells you different doesn't follow the teachings.

Jesus did not atone for the sin of all sinners. Jesus atoned for the sin of his people. His people turn from sin and turn to God through faith in Him. Atonement does not "undo" original sin and its consequent punishments in the physical sphere we live in. Atonement ensures that Christ will prepare a place for us to live in the New Heaven and New Earth, where righteousness will reign and sin will be banished forever!

All life? The animals and biosphere have nothing to do with this!
Jesus atones for all who believe only! John 3:16~ (ASV)
whosoever believeth on him, might not perish, but have life age-abiding. 17. . .18He that believeth on him, is not to be judged: he that believeth not, already, hath been judged,—

By his sacrifice, Jesus re-opened paradise. Before him, there was no way to be redeemed. We still need to lead lives in Imitation of Christ (not the clothes) to be rewarded at the Resurrection. Jesus' death and resurrection were not intended as free passes for all.
