I'm fairly shy and have been tagged a b*tch by co workers and such. I am friendly and helpful, yet it seems my quiet demeanor makes them nervous. Be proud of who you are. One thing I have learned by being shy and quiet is that you learn a lot more by listening and keeping your mouth shut!:)
Don't bother with such negative folks!

People assume a lot. Some people assume that if you don't talk to them you must be snobby, arrogant or that you must dislike them for no good reason. People sometimes forget that there are also people out there who are just introverts or shy.
