Yes, the wedding band goes on first (closest to the heart) and the engagement ring goes on above it.

As one person said, and lots others.....Yes both on left hand ring finger. I know alot who take either the band or the engagement ring off and just wear the one, but the other option alot of pple do is get the 2 rings sodered together into one ring. For the most part it's just a personal choice.
