Hi,
your copy of "MS Word" has errors just put the install disk into the drive and then select "Repair" this should solve all your problems.

Either you have a virus or a corrupted application. I would first run a virus scan to rule out virus then I would reinstall Word from the disk.

Insert the disk and choose the repair option. From the drop down expandable list choose Word only and then Next. You will be prompted for your license key so have it handy.

There are other problems associated with this also like the virtual memory or swap drive not being large enough or full. Generally though its a corrupt file in the application.

Since your last update stated you did not have any virus (cookies dont count) then uninstall and reinstall Word. You will not lose any of your documents you created with the Word application. If you do not reinstall Word those files will only be readable by Microsoft Notepad or Wordpad. So just reinstall and start fresh.

Good luck.....

Make sure you install the latest updates to Office, go to http://office.microsoft.com and click on the Updates link and follow the instructions. You need to keep Office up to date so that any bugs that Microsoft discovers can be fixed on your computer by applying the updates.

Also it is a good idea to scan your system for spyware or viruses that might be interfering with Word. You could visit TrendMicro.com and use their free HouseCall spyware scan and removal tool to scan your computer and hopefully eliminate any spyware infecting it.

Word is corrupted. Remove and re-install it.
