Chances are your cam has a USB connection. You need to buy a usb cable that will connect it to a PC, and one would have come with the cam. If not, make sure you buy one with a small DV plug at one end. Then it would be better to use a good video editing program such as Pinnacle's Studio or Ulead's Videostudio. You can even control the cam from the PC and program. Download the footage to the PC, add special effects, menu, etc., from the program. If you have a DVD drive that records, click on burn, and as long as it will all fit on the disc, you're off.

To view filming? If you have a camera that has a USB port, your set, other than that the only thing I can think of is hooking your camcorder up to the television, and record it onto a disk from there. To burn cd's you need a cd burner, the same with dvd's. You can get a all-in-one burner, those come with great software too, can probably pick one up for about $65.

I recommend Pinnacle Studio. It's around $99.00 and comes with the USB/Firewire box that connects to your computer. In addition, it comes with some really awsome video editing software that's relatively easy to use.
