Do whatever makes you happy, regardless of what society pressures you to do. You know more about what's best for you than the rest of society does.

I would choose having a relationship. I enjoy the companionship that comes with along with that of a strong, healthy, lively relationship. Perhaps the difficulty of finding that type of lasting relationship is why people remain single in the first place. I would much rather skip over all the bull**** of dating the wrong guys, and get right to the right guy, but I'm sure many feel this way. I enjoy reminiscing with my bf of past experiences we have encountered together, for it is one of the things that in my opinion, make us close. Forming that bond with someone is extremely special and should always be cherished.
On the other hand, I have many friends who enjoy the single life and would prefer it. Less stress, no worry, no tie downs. Come to think of it, that does sound pretty appealing doesn't it lol.
Both have their pro's and con's and it is purely left up to preference.

Each person is different, and each person must follow the path that makes them happiest. This is all that God wants or expects of us...to truly know ourselves, and to be true to ourselves. If you are happiest in the single life, then you should not get married.
I personally, have never been married, and I am 53. But, I have never, for even one nano second, been happy to be single. I would still marry in a heartbeat, if I ever find the right man for me. But, I am having to work really hard at overcoming negative programing from my childhood. The reason I have never found the right one, is because I was never taught to believe that I deserved to be loved by a good man, and I was never taught to believe that I deserved better than a dead beat kind of man. So dead beat "pet men" is all that has ever come into my life. On an intellectual level, I do know that I am worthy, and I do see all the good and wonderful things about myself. But, it is on the emotional level, that I have trouble believing in the best of me.
Anyway, I have never liked the single life. It does not suit me in any way. I actually kind of hate it. This is the reason that I have co-habitated several times in my life. *sm*

I LOVE being single but if I found THE one that met my qualifications I would venture in a relationship. Being single is soo stressful, safer, no bullsh*t, no one to answer to or questioning my means of motives. Relationships have their good qualitities as well but If I HAD to chose--I would be single.

i would rather be in a relationship than be single.i have always been the kind of woman that loves to take care of her partner.i enjoy doing things for him, making sure he knows how much he's loved and wanted in every way.the single life's not for everyone but the ones that do enjoy it i suppose would rather do for themselves than have someone do for them out of love not because their told to.

Unless it's a wonderful relationship, being single is excellent.

it depends who the relatyionship is with, if its with my bf then the relatioship as he makes me strong and he treats me how i want to be treated, we dont ever argue and we have been together nearly ten months but we do have disagreements, i pick a relationship with him as theres no problems and no arguemtns or gettin upset about things, its a happy relationship, but if its a realtionship with lots of arguments then id choose to be single as i cant be doing with it
