I live in washington county oregon and have jury duty on the 27th of this month. I need to look up whether or not I have to show up but I cant find the website. I have to show up in hillsboro oregon courthouse sep 27th.

could anyone please give me the website to check whether or not I have to show up?

Yes, you must report as directed or face being charged with perjury. Most people will get a nasty letter the first time they don't show up and are immediately scheduled again. Make a habit of it and you will be charged with a crime...as you should be. (Assuming you have no extenuating circumstances.)

I've been on a jury twice, and I'm damn proud to say that the first time we put a child molestor behind bars for life.

Here in Kansas there is also a phone number they have you call the day before.

(Im in Hillsboro Kansas by the way, didnt know there was a Hillsboro in Oregon too!)

In Mass you get a phone number and a jury pool number. You call on the day before and the recording tells you what pool numbers have to show up.

usualy they give you a phone number you can call to find out

i live in NY and thats how they do it here, if you skip it they will come after you and you will be in trouble

but if youve never done it before its actaully very interesting and more likely than not you wont actually be picked to serve on a jury, but even if you do its actaully pretty cool experience

you will come out with probably alot more respect for the system and judges in particular

Call the number on your paper that told you to report.
Court is canceled all the time. You probably have to call the night before and to see if you are scheduled

to call the night before.
