We all have the same God
The foundation of Islamic teaching begins with God, whom Muslims call 'Allah'. The name Allah comes from the Arabic language and literally means the one and only God, as opposed to any old god with a small 'g'.
The Qur'an itself declares that Allah is the same God that spoke to the Jews and Christians. Therefore, when Muslims speak about God, they have in mind that it is the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Even Arab Christians, who speak the Arabic language, say 'Allah' when they talk about God. (the Spanish word for God is Dios, yet nobody makes the claim that it is a different God!)
The Qur'an states in this way:
"Tell (the Jews and Christians), 'We believe in the revelation which has come down to us {the Qur'an} and in that which came down to you {the Torah and Gospel}; Our God and your God is one; and it's to Him we surrender" (Qur'an 29:46)
Muslims prefer to use the name 'Allah' no matter what language is being spoken. This is because the proper name for the supreme deity cannot be made plural or altered in any way grammatically in Arabic.

It is a big NO. JEHOVA is not the same as allah. JEHOVA is GOD. He is the creator of all things - God of creation. He is the Lord God Almighty. While allah is a god, a pagan god specifically - the moon god. It is the god of the an ancient tribe in Arabia. The idol statue of moon god - allah, is sitting on a throne and has a cresent moon carved in his chest. The cresent moon is now used in the Islam religion. The muslims are made to believe that allah is same as Jehova but sad to say he is not. This is a great deception to them. Want to know more? Visit www.chick.com

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are three different religions. They all worship the same God, the God of Abraham.

Most adherents of Islam would argue that their god "Allah" is the same monotheity mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures. Abraham (the common patriarch of Jews and Muslims) called the Almighty by His personal name: Jehovah.
Sadly, the deity discussed in the Koran bears little resemblance to the Deity of the bible. Frankly, there is little about the god of Islam which indicates he is any but Satan himself. Like all of false religion, Islam serves the purposes of God's chief enemy the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 11:14-15) Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.

No, they're not the same.
"...people who reject the Book of Mormon don't insist that the LDS don't worship the same Christ."
Incorrect. The Christ that Mormonism describes is not the Christ of the Bible.

Of course. Ancient monotheism and tribal groups came, as Rt says, from Abraham. Semitic people are cousins, The Samaritans are a mixed people of many different blood groups, and were rejected by Judea and Israeli governments for centuries, until enlisted to fight Greek and Roman armies. The study of religion is a life-time of confusion.

Islam & Judaism are as different as night and day. Though Allah means god in Muslim language, the god of Islam is not the God of Judaism.

Allah and Jehova are two entirely different Gods. Allah doesn't have a Son and a Holy Spirit.
