How can i format a cell in OOFFICE.ORG to automaticly subtract 17%?

=G28-(G28*0.17)

G28 would be the cell that contains the original number you want to subtract the 17% from.

Subtract 17% from what cell?

In OOcalc, click on the Help Tab and read all about Formulas.

Example:

A1 is 100
A2 =A1*.17
A3 =A1-A2

A3 will show 83
