OCD cannot be cured but you can certainly learn to control it. I have been controlling my OCD for 14 months now. I was so out of control it was affecting my work and my relationships but I went to therapy and I am still going, but I learned to reconize my thought patterns and notice my behavior. It was a lot of work and at times I felt like I just wanted to give up and go back to compulsing because it feels comfortable and it wasn't as hard as trying to change. I fully believe with help and the desire to control your OCD you can. It will take a lot of time and work but you can do it!

There are many pharmaceuticals out there for OCD. I had suffered for years until I finally found Clomipramine. It did wonders for me and cured my OCD. Talk to your Dr. I know how you feel and you don't have to live like this. Good luck!
