As denominations, they are just partial truths of the whole truth.

The Salvation Army, is a church that came from the Methodist church (which is the church that I goto) so the two are very similar. Like other answers We believe in the trinity & the Appostles Creed, & the services are much the same.
The only thing that does not take place in the Salvation Army & some Methodists church is: as they call it in the Church of England is Holy Communion. This is because our organisation delt with drunks so as an example we choose not to drink alcahol. (Tell you what this is hard to explain!)
The methodists & the Salvationists (Name for people who goto the Salvation Army) moved away from having ornate churches and just had a cross behind the pulpit the aim was for the people to concentrate on the Key to their Faith, being God. You can have penticostal Baptists, Methodists, Salvationists, Presbytarian churches. They run to a meeting plan (service plan) but if they feel that God's Spirit is moving then they will allow it to do so.
I know that this is not a very good answer but I tried.

I am a Baptist who used to go to a Pentecostal church so.....I can only speak for the first 2:
Baptists - We believe in the Scriptures as 100% God-breathed. We also believe in eternal security for the Christian.
Pentecostals - Concentrate heavily on the gifts of the Spirit......namely, tongues. They believe that salvation can be lost and simply walked away from (not true)

Well they are all part of Protestants - who rebelled against the teachings of the Catholic church - the authentic Christian church directly founded by Jesus Christ....
I don't understand myself very well the differences in terms of their theologiclal interpretations, but reason why they are split (which is against the will of God) is because they just threw out the window the grounds through which Bible should be interpreted..which are Holy traditions that directly stem from the Jesus' 12 apostles..
But in short, most Protestants believe in Holy Trinity (unlike Jehovah's witnesses) and that Jesus is our savior, so they are actaully Christians...
