What happened to the humanistic values. Is it OK to denigrate people when it is a German market chain doing the deed?

It is called offensive marketing and the technique they are using is negative advertising.

It is a mddle class customer oriented promotion system. It attracts attention- anger or sympathy ;it doesn't matter- and that is basically the main purpose.

It is being used alot lately since positive advertising is well known (kanıksanmış) and it doesn't trigger interest anymore.

If you ask what happened to ethics and moral values? They are dead and buried 6 feet under long time ago in marketing business because THEY DON'T MAKE MONEY and money makes the word go around. Sad but true.

Welcome to the scary new era of marketing: whatever, I mean WHATEVER- sells is acceptable.

Humanity? Please don't make me laugh...
Do I agree? OF COURSE, NOT!!!

Humanity and humanism are just the words in the dictionary now. The only thing people pay attention is how much money they win these days. And they can't get enough.
But of course this is a type of marketing which is like" dog biting a man is not interesting, man biting the dog is interesting" type.
The concurence is huge and media and marketing are the best weapons to win.
I would never take a job like this because for me it is cheap marketing (not money wise style wise), i wouldn't want my product to be remembered this way either but apparently some people in the bussiness don't mind.
Showing the product more beautiful than it is or in other words lying is the part of this job but i don't approve of denigrating people, animals, countries,etc...
For me it is a short term ( i will make a scandal and i will become famous type of event) bussiness. no creativity, no imagination nothing.
Of course this is only my opinion.

This is not the mistake of people. It is the best way of advertising in the world. All national and international media report news from such a chaotic event, so the name of that company is engraved in the brains of people-customers.

This German company is not the first one using this plan for advertising.

The key reality here lies in the analysis of human behaviour which reveals the miserable truth of being tempted by the attraction of the appearance.

Ümraniye'deki mağazanın açılışı dolayısıyla gerçekleştirilen kampanda ürünler birkaç saat içinde tükenirken 28 Eylül 2007 Cuma gününe kadar sürdürülmesi planlanan kampanya, promosyonlu ürün stoklarının tükenmesi sebebiyle ilk gün sonlandırıldı. It is turkish mentality about beles mal and capitalism's toll combined. And as ipek says, they use mostly the lumpen-proletarians, the scum of the society as Marx once named it. Such things also happen in the US, fights break out while trying to buy discount items, don't worry.
