I don't think there is a religious reason why men go bald. In the Bible it does talk about a man who was bald and some younger men were picking on him. The bald man asked God for help and to get those other's from picking on him, and a bear attacked the other men!
2 Kings 2:23-24: "2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them."

No. Men go bald because of imperfection. The human body constantly renews, repairs and replaces itself and its cells. This includes hair. Thus you shed hair and it grows back. But because of imperfection, the body does not operate the way it is supposed to operate. Thus, things go wrong. Including shedding hair that never grows back. That's the really simple and short answer.

Probably it wouldn't have happened before the fall.
But since then we grow old and die.
Things go from bad to worse.
Our hair falls out, our teeth fall out. Finally we fall apart in the earth.
It's a good thing there's more in life after or this life would be pretty pitiful.
But the problems aren't God's fault. They're ours.
Seek him, and find the true answer

Speaking as a bald guy: No. It's just genetics, and excess testosterone.
I did have shoulder-length, waving blond hair when I was in high school. I just didn't know it was waving "goodbye."

Yeah, a lot of religions require men to wear hats.
I'm an asatru-pagan: we only wear viking-helmets in battle and horns for rituals :)
