What's our alternative? Totalitarian ban on religion? They tried that in the Soviet Union. The best we can do is leave belief up to the individual, as per the First Amendment, but regulate the behavior as necessary. So we have laws against child abuse, false imprisonment, fraud, assault, etc. Let people believe what they choose to believe, and eventually most will choose sensibly. We can hope. Outlaw freedom of religion and it will come back to bite you for sure. Suppression would just feed martyr complexes, make them stronger.

First of all, I do not understand as to why suddenly we have so many members questioning the existence of God and religion. Is it that more and more people are turning away from religion, because of terrorism spread in the name of one particular religion?

Religion is mans idea of who they think God is and what they think God wants.Organized Mis mash .I went in my room and humbled myself telling Jesus I am a sinner I believe You are the Son of God I believe You died on the cross for our sins and my sins Please forgive my sins Jesus come into my heart and Jesus immediately filled me with peace and love and the knowledge inside my heart that when I would leave this place I would be with Him for all eternity.WHAT A RELIEF .
